Active Matter Gigastructure Raid
A brutalist labyrinth that restocks itself. Elevators are the extract. Corners are a trap.
Gigastructure is the gravity-warped megastructure on Dalniy Island. Soviet brutalist blocks twisted by active matter, restocked between cycles, layouts that rhyme from run to run while loot and enemies do not. It arrived with the Gigastructure update in April 2026, briefly locked behind Agency security protocols, then opened as its own raid. It is not Park. Park is the greenhouse next door. It is not Factory hangars. It is not Airport Africa. Queue the megastructure slot.
Time on site is finite. When an iteration ends, the safe zone contracts and a purge deletes anything not inside an elevator. Elevators are the only confirmed purge shelter: no PvP inside, a timer, then a lobby between cycles. Play it like a speedrun with empty pockets, not like a loot circuit. The Agency brief is blunt: do not hold the same corner for ten minutes.
Pair this page with raid types so Isolated versus Open is a choice, and with how to extract so the elevator is not a surprise.
Elevators, purges, and the Gravity gun
The extract is the lift, not a portal in a field. Watch the iteration clock. When the safe zone starts to die, you are already late. Compact ARs and SMGs from the weapon tier list — M4A1, AEK-971, PP-2000, Scorpion — beat a PKM you will not swing around a stairwell. Titan XL is how you miss the door. Polyethylene or ceramic L on Isolated; ceramic XL if you can replace it. See armor.
The Gravity gun is a supply-drop tool from the same update. It punches a tunnel from muzzle to impact. Use it to skip fall damage and to rotate between warped floors. You do not extract it intact. Treat a drop as a rotate, not a souvenir. Shegolskoe taught the same lesson with floating houses; the megastructure just grades harder.
Self-Terminate exists if geometry eats you. Use it when the kit is already gone and the elevator is a floor away. Isolated still purges you. “No other operatives” is not “no timer.”
Open Gigastructure is a PvP magnet because everyone heard the same briefing. Mid kit or rental. Suppressor, headset, empty pockets. Do not stake a Replicator SCAR-L you cannot reprint this week. Isolated is the learning queue if your edition opens the slot.
What lives in the blocks
Flowermen and Dendroids bleed in from Park’s biome when Overgrowth or adjacent tiles leak. Distorted own concrete. Mimics possess objects — a crate in a brutalist hall is not always a crate. Tentacles and Alpha threats from the Gigastructure drop belong here more than on Headquarters tarmac. Fire still works on plant-type nests. Headsets tell you which stairwell is a Distorted wake-up. Read how to beat anomalies before you knife an Alpha in a corridor with no elevator behind you.
Turned Soldiers exist. They can flee now. Do not dump a mag into a sprinting silhouette if the clock is red. Color-coded rare loot icons on raid select still apply. A hot Gigastructure instance is a mid-kit invitation, not a PASGT picnic. Monster clusters are high danger, high tier — skip them if the lift is in two minutes.
Park is the companion raid from the same patch: greenhouse, Alpha Flowerman, fire. If you queued Gigastructure expecting flower beds, you queued the wrong card. Vanilla Mall is Nexus, not this map — Nexus Battles.
Kit cheat sheet
- Isolated: M4A1 or AEK, compact SMG, light plates, A3 or EDH-Gen V, Pulse, empty pockets, flashlight on controls (V is audible).
- Open: suppressed compact AR, PP-2000, ceramic you can replace, TFMK-I, Beast or rental, no LMG.
- Gravity gun: use, do not extract.
- Never: titan stack plus four receivers plus a Robot Dog you have not sent ahead. That is how you watch the purge from the wrong side of the door.
- Park instead: fire + Pulse. Different raid.
Investigations for the megastructure series exist; some stayed locked while protocols were audited. Do not sit in a locked card hoping it opens mid-queue. Check Missions. After a live extract, refine junk, stash what you will re-equip, and queue a raid you can afford to lose. Loadouts has packed recipes. Shelter and Monolith is why you reprint the AR. Harmonization is why some guns are still gated.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is Gigastructure the same as Park?
No. Park is the greenhouse raid with Flowermen and Alpha Flowerman. Gigastructure is the brutalist megastructure with purge cycles and elevators. Both arrived in the Gigastructure update.
Where do I extract?
Elevators. When an iteration ends, a purge wipes anything not inside a lift. Portals from other Dalniy raids are the wrong mental model. See how to extract.
Can I bring a Gravity gun home?
No. It is a raid-only supply-drop tool. Use it to skip falls, then leave it.
Should my first run be Isolated or Open?
Isolated, if your edition opens the slot. Open Gigastructure is a third-party gallery around the same lifts.
What kit should I pack?
Compact AR, light plates, empty pockets. Titan and LMGs miss the elevator. Packed recipes live on loadouts.
